I had finally decided that I wanna pursue my aviation career.
It really takes a lot of effort and perseverance to finally make it. I've been
motivated by my friends who believes that I am suitable for the job despite of
dental and skin imperfections. I can’t consider myself now as a Flight Attendant but would be happy enough to blog it once I become one. I just wanted to share all
my efforts to be not perfectly but I think just to look so closed to be what a
flight attendant should be. :)
Let’s start with my dental imperfections. I have these two
little teeth besides my two front teeth :D and 3 missing teeth – one of those were so obvious when I smile and two of them
were almost second to the last tooth of my lower set of teeth so it really doesn't bother me a lot. (Hope my description makes sense, :D). I've been searching and
browsing same dental case and aesthetic online for almost a year before I was
able to consult mine. First thing to consider when trying consulting dentist is
I guess money – it was really expensive to have a dental improvements. I
visited my schoolmate dental clinic last December and decided to have braces,
which I think one of the option to have my small teeth looks just fine
when put closed to my two front teeth though it would take so much time but of course dentist have always a great
recommendations. After my teeth got examined the dentist quoted that braces
will not be a lot of help to improve my teeth. She recommends me to just have
veneers on my two small teeth and a bridge with my missing teeth. She then
discussed me the procedures and how much will it cost. With my natural big eyes
and mouth open -- I was amazed with the big numbers, lol, I can’t afford it. I don’t
know how will I say it to my dentist, I’m speechless. :p She instructed me to
have my dental x-ray scheduled on the other day, but because of my schedule and
I think also because of very much pricey I never showed up, I just texted my
schoolmate about my dilemma.
Two weeks after, I consulted another dentist just to have pasta, dental prophylaxis and take advantage of my medicard before the year end. I also don’t waste the opportunity to ask the dentist if there are any chances for me to have a FA like big smiles. The dentist was very kind and very accommodating, we talked everything under the sun and I felt comfortable saying my desires.

First procedure done with my teeth was tooth fillings and
oral prophylaxis. During my second visit, she did my crown and one fixed bridge on my
very noticeable missing tooth. I’m very happy with the result and with the price. I
had my crown for P4,500 and my fixed bridge for P7,500 then nakatawad ako ng 1k, ow not bad right? :D My third visit was to fix
my two little teeth. I can’t recall what exactly was the procedure but just
same with reshape or rebuild. I pay each tooth for only P2,500 which is a
total of P5,000 for my two little front teeth (that was a great price as she
also gave me a free pasta for my two other teeth). Thank you so much to my very kind Dentist Dra. M. Let me share you the
product, please excuse my haggardness. :p
PHOTO WAS REMOVED :D
Other than with my dental imperfections, I think my skin
also doesn't look that good to be a FA. I have a small scar on my right eyebrow
which I got from chicken pox and a small celluloid on my left knee which I got
from a bicycle accident during my childhood. Internet has been a good help for
me when I have this questions in mind, thumbs up to people who created Google. :D I also even asked
pharmacist what’s the best medicines for scars. I have this ointment I got when
I was a medical representative before. I bought it to my favorite client during
that time maybe about two years ago now. My scars had an improvement, I was
instructed to put the ointment on my scars then cover it with dressing over night. My scars
now were concealable and ready for physical assessment. I am also currently using a Kojic Royale for my daily skin care and Nivea body UV Whitening Serum to protect my skin from sun burn. :)
It’s not just a choice; I may say that this is a calling. I
took up nursing but yet my heart still goes to what it's beating. I love being
around with people and be in Paris and or in any place around the world. Let’s
fly high and dream high!
